We had to leave the wonderful ship on Sunday morning and our flight home was not until Monday. We stayed in a hotel in LA and had the entire day to explore and do a little sight seeing before retiring for the evening. We took a cab to the Santa Monica Pier. It was such a beautiful day! It was the perfect temp. not too hot with a slight breeze being near the ocean. We had not been to Santa Monica before so we walked up and down the pier, rode on the carousel, ate lunch at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., and went to a neat little aquarium. It was a great way to spend our last day of vacation.
