Our Weekend

On Saturday we went to my parents house (they live on the Columbia River in a boat house). Maddie really wanted to go fishing after seeing people fishing on the pier in Santa Monica. Bryan told her he would take her when we got home. So we headed down there for the day. Most of my siblings came down too. We ate lunch, went out on the boat, relaxed, Bryan and Jeff went on the wave runners, and we fed the geese. It was a relaxing day and it was fun to see everyone. We did not even have a bite when it came to fishing though. Maybe next time!

Uncle Chris and Maddie

Ready to go out on the river for a little ride.

When Maddie was really little, 0-2 years, she would always fall asleep when we went on a boat ride. Well...she still does. And this isn't going slow we are really moving!

Maddie and Uncle Jon playing Guitar Hero. Maddie says they were "rockin' out!" :)

Jeff found this VERY LARGE dragon fly floating down the river when he and Maddie went to check the fishing poles. It was missing a wing and was still alive (for a little while longer) but could not fly. Madison was so excited. She named him Blueberry. She is so fascinated by bugs and any creatures smaller then her. :)

Peyton and I snuggling under a blanket. It was a little chilly when the wind started to pick up.
