A Boat Ride and Lunch

Today was another beautiful sunny day! We went to my parents house and took a boat ride to a restaurant called "The Deck". You just pull the boat up an park it along side the restaurant. It was fun to sit outside in the shade and watch the water, birds, air planes, and people. After eating we got back in the boat and took a little ride. Maddie got to help Papa drive and Peyton fell asleep to the hummm of the motor and move of the wakes. It made me think back to when Maddie was little and whenever we would take her out on the boat she would fall asleep. It was a great day!A Beautiful View of Mt. Pretty, Pretty, Princess

When you have girls you just have to give in sometimes. So, yes, my hubby is playing Pretty, Pretty, Princess with the girls. Maddie received it for a Birthday gift from Uncle Chris and Aunt Stacy (watch out Uncle Chris you are the next player!). Bry is really a great sport...hey he even won and wore all of the jewelry and the crown. :)

Maddie Turns 5!

My baby officially turned 5 on May 25th. We had a bubble themed birthday party with about 50 of our family members and closest friends. It was such a beautiful day outside, thank goodness! I was a little worried about rain due to 1.) Where would I put 50 people in our house and 2.) It was a bubble party theme...this means outside fun. The weather was in the 70's and just perfect. We were able to add 2 blow up pools into the fun. Here are some pictures from the day. I can't believe she is 5. Time has gone by so fast! Happy Birthday Maddie! I love you!

A Day In The SUN!

We had a beautiful sunny weekend! It was in the 80's...now this is big news for Oregon! :) The girls wanted to go in the water so we got out the sprinklers and they went to town. Peyton is a little water baby...she LOVES the water and spent a lot of time laughing and running in and out of the water spray. Maddie was a great big sister helping Peyton and showing her the ropes of water play. At this time last year Peyton was just hanging out in the shade and watching the fun this year she is joining in on the fun. I look forward to more sunny days ahead!

Mother's Day Celebration!

I love being a Mom and can't imagine my life any other way!

We had a BBQ at our house to celebrate all of the Moms! It was a beautiful day and we were able to get outside and enjoy the weather and some games. It was fun to have all of the family together once again! Happy Mother's Day! Thank you to Moms and Grandmas for being an important part of my life! You are all loved!

A Trip To The SUN!

Madison and I went down to Arizona for a long weekend to visit my best friend Jana and attend Brenden's (her son) 5th birthday party. Maddie was SO excited and we had such a good time. I miss my friend and needed a little break away so it was great to see the sunshine and talk girl talk. Maddie loves spending time with Brenden!
We spent the first part of our trip getting things ready for Brenden's Dinosaur Birthday Bash. Shopping, cleaning, and getting all the little details just right. Maddie went to Brenden's baseball game and had fun Swimming with Chris (Jana's Husband) and Brenden.
On Sunday was the Birthday Party. It was a big bash with lots of his little friends. We had a really good time meeting a lot of new people!
We spent Monday at the Wild Animal Zoo. They have some really cool areas were you can feed the animals. We feed Giraffes, Laurakeets, Goats, Ducks, and Deer. We were able to visit their new aquarium and touch sting rays, see fish, sharks, lobsters, and turtles. It was a good day!
We really loved the warm/hot weather and it was hard to come back to storms and rain. We look forward to seeing our friends this summer in Oregon and miss them already! Thank you Brenden for inviting us to your party! We had so much fun!
