Madison and I went down to Arizona for a long weekend to visit my best friend Jana and attend Brenden's (her son) 5th birthday party. Maddie was SO excited and we had such a good time. I miss my friend and needed a little break away so it was great to see the sunshine and talk girl talk. Maddie loves spending time with Brenden!We spent the first part of our trip getting things ready for Brenden's Dinosaur Birthday Bash. Shopping, cleaning, and getting all the little details just right. Maddie went to Brenden's baseball game and had fun Swimming with Chris (Jana's Husband) and Brenden.
On Sunday was the Birthday Party. It was a big bash with lots of his little friends. We had a really good time meeting a lot of new people!
We spent Monday at the Wild Animal Zoo. They have some really cool areas were you can feed the animals. We feed Giraffes, Laurakeets, Goats, Ducks, and Deer. We were able to visit their new aquarium and touch sting rays, see fish, sharks, lobsters, and turtles. It was a good day!
We really loved the warm/hot weather and it was hard to come back to storms and rain. We look forward to seeing our friends this summer in Oregon and miss them already! Thank you Brenden for inviting us to your party! We had so much fun!
