Farm Party

At Maddie's Preschool they have a farm party to celebrate October. The kids are to dress up like something from a farm and bring their pumpkin (the one they picked from their class trip to the pumpkin patch) all "decked out". Maddie wanted to be a kitty and we made her pumpkin into a pig...with a pink bow of course. :)

We Have Take Off!

Peyton has really made some big steps towards walking! She has been practicing for a month or so now and would go from chair to couch, person to person with about 4-5 steps. In the last couple of days she has really found her balance and is walking quite a bit more. It is so fun because she is very proud of herself and claps when she falls or sits. She gets this great little "smooshed" up nose and big grin on her face when she makes it to her planned destination. She squeals with joy. I just love this little girl she makes me smile!!

Fall Ball Carnival

Every year my school (where I work) holds a Fall Ball Carnival. There are carnival games set up in the classrooms, BINGO, Raffle prizes, and a pizza dinner. It is the main fund raiser for our school. We always have a lot of fun and Maddie now fully understands the carnival concept. We spent the evening enjoying all of the festivities and seeing all of my past and present students decked out in costumes.
Green Teeth, Humm...I thought she was Ariel the Mermaid?

My Mom made her great mermaid costume. Here is a picture of the tail.

Of course...who is Arial without her best friend...Flounder.

My Parents joined us.

A game of golf.

Pumpkin Time

On Sunday we took the annual family trip to the pumpkin patch. This year we went to Lee Farms. It turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL day!! It was cold and foggy, then in the afternoon then the sun came out and we couldn't have asked for a better day. My parents and Bry's Parents joined us as well as my sister Cait. We had a fun time and were able to get some good pictures and create some great memories. I love the colors and weather this time of year!

A Princess and a Cow

Today we went to a Birthday party for a neighbor little girl, Rose. It was a costume party and the kids could dress up as anything they wanted to.
So Maddie was Princess Bell and Peyton was a cow. We had a fun day!

A Bubble Party

After my Brother's Wedding, Maddie came home with many of the left over bubbles. One morning, I was getting Peyton dressed and Maddie was so excited because she wanted us to come to a bubble party! I asked her what a bubble party was? She said it was for Peyton and we had to come and see! SO... I headed down stairs with Peyton. Maddie had "decorated" the stairs with a container of bubbles on each. She blew bubbles for Peyton and threw a great bubble party. Peyton really enjoyed it!

I'll Just Help Myself Thank You

I was getting Maddie breakfast and Peyton was waiting for her breakfast. She followed me into the pantry and decided to help herself to the star puffs. She dumped the container all over the floor and then proceeded to "clean them up" by eating them. I guess she figures when you can't get fast service, help yourself.

Just Waiting

On Tuesday and Thursday mornings Maddie (sometimes) rides to school with our neighbor little girl, Mia. She always gets so excited and looks out the window until she sees them come out of their house, then she runs out to meet them. It's fun to see her look forward to school and her friends.
Just watching and waiting.

Future Book Worm

Peyton loves books.
When I went into Maddie's room this is what I found.

She was enjoying herself.

Maddie decided to join in on the reading.
