Yippee!! Dinner Time

Peyton was very happy it was dinner time tonight!
She had this thrilled look on her face.
Our happy girl!

Apple Pickin'

Maddie had an apple picking day with her preschool. I had never been apple picking before. It was fun. The trees were low enough for the kids to pick. I only let Maddie pick ten, because I know we would not eat more then this before they would spoil. She would have filled 10 buckets if I would have let her. She loves to pick things, (especially flowers that she is not supposed to from the yard ;).) We shared an apple on the way to swim lessons. It was so sweet and yummy. Apples = Fall!

A Weekend of Fun

I had a very busy weekend! Friday I had Bunco with a group of girls. This is always fun. I get to go to Bunco once a month. We have a good time and laugh a lot. I even won this past weekend. This is a bonus. :)
On Saturday we went to the Zoo with some of my family and a friend Tracy. It was a beautiful day and perfect weather! We wanted to see the baby elephant, yet, the line was over an hour long. Soooo... we just enjoyed the rest of the zoo. It was membership appreciation day and also cultural day. They had different activities set up to learn about different cultures and animals from around the world. Maddie enjoyed collecting stamps of different animals from around the zoo in a little "passport". It was a good time.

An elephant ear is the best next thing to seeing the baby elephant.

On Sunday we spent the day celebrating my Niece Jordyn's 13th birthday with family. It was good to see everyone! She had an Elmo Cake. Never too old for Elmo. :)

Tunnel Fun

For Maddie's 1 year birthday Bry and I bought her a tunnel. This has been the best gift. Maddie still uses it to this day and now Peyton has joined in. It folds up compact and is easy to store. I think it was money well spent for the hours of fun we have gotten from it and will continue to get from it. Here are some pics of Peyton having fun!

This picture makes me laugh! Peyton stops at all of the "windows" to look out. She almost looks like she has a nylon over her head the way she smashes her face into the netting! :)

Yummy

When I got home from work the other day my Mom and Maddie were making banana bread. It always smells so good while baking and makes the house feel so warm. It was perfect for the Fall like weather that was happening outside. YUMMY!

One Down, Many More To Go

Well I made it through the first night of Boot Camp. It was tough! I am very sore but am going to go back for more on Wednesday. (I hope I can walk tomorrow). I know if I keep it up it will get easier with time. :)

Little Sleepy Head

Little Peyton was so tired tonight she fell asleep in her highchair.
Sweet dreams!

Am I Crazy?

On Monday I start boot camp. Yes, I have signed up for an intense month long exercise program that is called Better Body Boot Camp. It is supposed to be great and I am hoping to loose some of this stubborn baby weight. I will attend 45 min. three times a week. It is offered here in Oregon City, so it is close and in the evenings. I hope it does the trick. I will let you know how it goes...if I can even move after the first week! Actually, I am looking forward to getting into a routine. I have to think positive! :)

Little Helper

This morning I was getting ready to change Peyton's diaper when Maddie came into Peyton's room. She wanted to do it. So I let her. She got out the diaper and wipes and changed Peyton all by herself. Then while she was washing her hands Peyton followed her into the bathroom. I told Maddie "Peyton says thank you big sissy". Maddie looked Peyton in the eyes and said, "It's my pleasure, my little sweetheart." She said it like she really meant it, with a loving tone in her voice. I am so blessed that my girls get along so well and Madison is really a GREAT big sister! So sweet.

Go Team!

My Niece Jordyn is on her Jr. High Football cheer leading squad. We went to the game Saturday night to watch her in action. Her team is really good! Cheer leading is definitely more advanced then when I was on a team in Jr. High. They did quite a few impressive stunts and lifts! It was fun to watch and their football team won! Go CAVS!

Maddie Is 5 Inches Lighter

This weekend we took Maddie to get her hair cut...5 inches. I think she looks cute with hair to her shoulders. I know I am already enjoying less tangles when I brush it!
Sorry about the black dot in the corner of all of our pics. The camera was dropped.
OOPS! It could be worse.

Bry's Birthday Cont'

Well, I thought Bryan would come home from work the day after his Birthday/
bee sting and we would do something fun like dinner. He did not get to come home. In fact, he got mandatoried and had to work another shift. His bee sting not only hurts where the bee stung him at the bottom of his nose, it has made his eye look like he has a shiner. Poor guy! We did finally go out on Wednesday night for dinner...his choice, Cheese Cake Factory. It was yummy! Happy birthday Bry! Hope the year ahead is much much better then your actual birthday!

Happy Birthday Bry!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRYAN/DADDY!! WE LOVE YOU!!

Thanks for being the best Daddy and Husband!

Today is Bryan's Birthday! He had to work, so we did not get to spend the day with him. Maddie did make a cake for him and we took it down to the station. She really enjoyed this process!

Poor Bry. While he was driving the fire engine, with the window open, a bee landed just at the bottom of his nose and stung him! What are the chances of that? At least he didn't crash. What a birthday gift! We hope to help him have a better birthday tomorrow with dinner or at least something better then a bee sting!

Weekend At The Beach

We spent the weekend with friends at Cannon Beach. The weather was wonderful and the kiddos enjoyed the sand! We spent a lot of time outside. So Much Fun!

Peyton's First Time in the sand, And... she didn't even eat it!

Princess Play

I left Maddie and Peyton in the play room while I ran downstairs to move the laundry along. Maddie put on a DVD, Cinderella 3. When I came back upstairs Maddie had put a tiara on both her and Peyton. I guess they were dressed appropriately for the movie. :) Silly girls!

I was given a crown upon arrival.

Maddie wanted to take my picture...not too bad for a 4 year old.

First Day Of School!!

Today is Maddie's first day of 4's Preschool! She was excited to go.
Bryan took her today. We feel she does better when only one person takes her because then she does not see her entire family leaving her there. We had some crying at the beginning of last year so, we planned to have only one person take her at a time this year. I will take her tomorrow. Bryan said she did not want him to leave her today, and wanted him to stay, but no major melt downs (that he saw). She will adjust like she did last year.
Looking forward to all she will learn this year! She is growing up too fast!

Ready to go to school!

Seriously... no more pictures guys!

Maddie and Teacher Nancy

Maddie and Teacher Cheri. She is the reason I signed Maddie up for this Preschool. I have had my eye on this school since before Maddie was born. I am so happy Maddie will have the "Teacher Cheri" experience.

Maddie brought her a rose from our yard.
