Roller Skating

Madison has a list of things she wants to do over the summer. One of the activities we checked off first was roller skating. We were invited to join some friends at Oaks Park! So, the girls had fun trying to stay on their feet. There were times of smiles, frustration, and tears. My arms were tired from trying to help hold up 2 little girls at the same time. It was a fun and exhausting time!

A Little Bike Ride

Jog A Thon

Madison had her Jog A Thon at the end of the school year. She did really well running 6 laps! My parents and I volunteered to help punch holes in the kids tags when then ran a lap and to cheer them on. I was really surprised with how many laps the little ones ran! They were not small laps either. It was fun to see how proud the kids were and they how they enjoyed their water and Popsicle when finished. It was perfect weather and is always a great fund raiser for the school. Here are some pictures of the event: Run Maddie Run!

Catch Up Time!

We have been very busy here during the month of June! I had to get everything taken care of at work for SUMMER BREAK! :) I do love Summer! :) Getting my classroom all cleaned up and put away, doing report cards, and getting a 2 page check list completed took a good couple of weeks of work. But, the good thing is it is all complete and I am on Summer Vacation!

I ended up with strep throat and terrible allergies that were not helping me the week I was supposed to be getting everything packed and ready for our surprise trip to Disney Land. Bryan ended up getting mandatoried to work the day we were going to get the house and yard ready and everything packed for vacation. So....I was on my own, feeling terrible and spending hours sitting in urgent care. I was so thankful for the girls spending one night at Grandma and Grandpa's house. This helped me out so much and I was able to pack and get ready for our big summer trip. More on our trip, pictures, and details coming soon! :)

I have so much to catch up on so I will get started on a couple of posts. Yes, some of them are going to be old news, but I would like to keep up with what is going on so that I have the posts when I create a book of all my posts.
