7th Tooth....GONE!
Well, Maddie lost yet another tooth! :) Her smile is ever changing. She really wanted this one to fall out and had to wiggle and play with it quite a bit. She pulled it out all on her own.
Bry was a work and she wanted to show him her tooth. Maddie wrote a note to the tooth fairy so she would know not to take her tooth until the next night. Here is what the note said:

Tulip Festival 2011
Meet Porter
We have a new family member. He is a 6 month old black lab puppy... whom we named Porter. We adopted him from the Clackamas County Animal Shelter on Tuesday, May 3rd. He is such a gentle, calm, kind boy. He is so good with the kids and I think he will be pretty easy to train....from what we have seen of him so far. We are so happy to have him in our family!
Ag Fest 2011
Last weekend we headed to Salem for an Agricultural Festival. I have received fliers at school every year and Maddie has wanted to go the last 2 years. I promised her we would go this year. So, we drove to the Salem Fair Grounds to check it all out. The kids had a great time. There was so much to do, see, and touch. It was smart to go in the morning because by afternoon the lines got pretty long. It was free entry for the girls...Bry and I had to pay. We spent a good three hours exploring and learning. Here are some pics from our day:
Maddie made a living necklace. It was a bean that was put between 2 cotton balls with water. It was placed in a little plastic bag with yarn attached. Madison was able to wear it around her neck. It is now sitting in our window and is sprouting quite nicely. It will eventually end up in our garden.

My Little Peyton
I was going through all of the boxes that Bryan had gotten down from the attic. They were full of Madison's old clothes, that should be ready to fit Peyton. She found a hat and robe in one of the boxes and insisted on wearing them.... together. Silly girl! She was thrilled with her outfit choice.
Ta-da!
