Cheerleaders?

Maddie was playing with her cheerleader pom poms and wanted me to "cheer" with her. She made up a little routine and I was to copy all of the moves she did. Here was her final pose at the end of the cheer...

Bet you wouldn't see that at a football game! :)

Crazy Girls!

Maddie came home from preschool and wanted to make a maraca. So, I left everything out for my Mom to help her make one while I was at work. She decorated it with stickers and put popcorn seeds inside. Well, of course Peyton then needed one too (monkey see monkey do is how it has been lately). So, we made her one and she and Maddie could "rock out" and dance with their maracas (and drive their Mommy crazy!)

Fork Power!

Peyton has been doing really well eating with a fork. Just another little way to show how she is growing up! What a big girl! One morning she even ate all of her cheerios with her fork...now that took skills!

Picnic Fun

It was raining outside so we had a picnic lunch inside with Aunt Caitie. What fun!

Another Fun Night Dancin'

We were able to get together with friends again this past weekend for a little country dancin' and dinner. We hope to get together once a month or so. A few of the couples have to drive 1 to 2 hours to meet up with us. It is always fun to see them and talk about the "good ol' days," when we would dance and practice dance on a weekly basis. Hope to see them all again soon!
Don't have a dance partner? Grab a sister! :)
Sue, Ken, Sam and Mandi... our dance coach and dance "parents".Tracy and I taking a lesson...I think we finally got it! :)

Peyton's Blankie

This is what I picture when I think of Peyton at age 1. She loves to carry around her favorite blankie. She does not take it away from home or "has" to have it. She just really enjoys it and it makes her smile. She giggles when I cover her up and tuck her in with her favorite friend.

Will It Ever End??

My family has been sick with one thing after another since November. First it was coughing by Maddie for 2 weeks, then Peyton coughing for a VERY LONG six weeks (with teething), Maddie then got the flu, then Peyton had the flu last week (still teething), and Bry has come home from work early today because he feels terrible with a fever/flu thing. I pray that I will not get any creeping crud, although my odds are not looking too good. I am surrounded here at home and at school. There have been kids out daily from class with the same kind of thing. It has been a very long winter. I am ready for a change in seasons and a healthy family. Will it ever end??
