Disneyland 2011

Finally my post about our Disneyland trip ;)!! I had to get the 800+ pictures from 3 different cameras, put them on the computer, and then pick just a small amount to download for the blog. It took a little bit of time. Anyway, here are some of our highlights of our FUN Disney trip! I really would love to live in Cinderella's castle and be part of the magic forever! It was sad to leave and I wish our trip could have been longer...like all summer! :)

We left on a 6:40 AM flight to California on June 19th (which was our 12th wedding anniversary and Father's Day). The fun started at 3:30 AM when we woke up the girls to SURPRISE them with a trip to Disneyland. They had NO clue we were going and were so excited, and sleepy, when we woke them up! I had packed and hidden the luggage in our closet...they had no clue! Another part of the surprise is when we met my parents at the airport. They too were joining us on our trip! We spent the first day swimming and walking around Downtown Disney. Then we spent the next 6 days at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks. There was so much to see and do and we loved it all and did it all!

Here are the girls next to the castle. A couple of the afternoons we took a break and went swimming.
The parade was fantastic! It was called Soundsational. We had the perfect spot on a bench in the shade. I love a good parade.

I made autograph books for the girls. They had fun collecting autographs from all of the characters around the park. Madison had a goal to get as many autographs as possible. Peyton on the other hand would not go up to any character the first couple of days. She has always been afraid of characters with "big heads" or fur. :)

The girls with fairies.Cruella Deville...she was quite the character and played the part very well! The third surprise of our trip were that our friends from Arizona would be

joining us for 3 days of the trip. They showed up at our hotel door to surprise the girls. We had so much fun seeing them and hanging out with our best friends...especially me!

Here are the moms and the kiddos with that silly ol' bear.Maddie and Brenden rode Thunder Mountain Railroad. They gave it a perfect 10 and 2 thumbs up! They had so much fun! Maddie was pretty excited to have Brenden to hang out with! Here we are at the end of the Matterhorn ride! Peyton conquered it! We were so proud of the girls! The entire crew on the train! There were 10 of us in all!
A family spin on the tea cups!
It's a Small WorldThis picture of Peyton makes me laugh! Can you read her button? It says, "Just Engaged". She was so upset and was crying because she was not tall enough to go on the raft ride at California Adventure. One of the Disney Employees was trying to make her feel better by offering her a button. Well, he only had 2 left.... Just Married or Just Engaged. Bry encouraged her to pick the Just Engaged button. She wore it on her shirt the rest of the trip.

Aladdin the Musical! WONDERFUL!Peyton was so proud when she could ride the Jelly Fish. She told us over and over, jumping up and down, "I growed bigger, I growed bigger". She marched up to that ride like she owned the place and stood in line with a big grin on her face!

Here she is showing that she is just tall enough!Maddie lost her upper right tooth at Disneyland! She thinks that maybe Tinkerbell was the fairy to leave her a dollar gold coin this time. What a special place to lose a tooth.Peyton, Mater, and Lighting McQueen. Getting in line for Casey Jr. the Circus Train.

Meeting all of the Princesses were a big highlight of the trip.

Grandma and the girls waiting for the firework show. We were especially excited to see Tinkerbell and Dumbo fly!We saw both of the night shows, Fantasmic and World of Color. We saw the fireworks show 2 times!

What a beautiful ending to a wonderful vacation!

I wanted to say thank you to my Dad for being our personal photographer! THANKS DAD!
