Sunday evening we went to Bryan's parents for another Thanksgiving gathering. They were in Texas this year on Thanksgiving so we had the celebration a little later. We would never turn down 2 Thanksgiving dinners! So, all of the family was there and we had a yummy meal and played with the kiddos. It was so good, Jan is an excellent cook!
We brought the pumpkin pie and cool whip. When it came time for dessert Maddie wanted to surprise us all with candles on our pie. So her and Grandma had everyone stay in the living room while they set up a little Thanksgiving surprise. When Maddie called us in she sang "Happy Thanksgiving To You" in the tune of Happy Birthday and there was a candle on each piece of pie. She came up with this little idea herself to surprise us all. It was pretty cute! I have so much to be Thankful for!
